The earlier the better!! Generally, most couples will book anywhere between 12-18 months prior to their wedding date. That being said, I cannot guarantee my availability even that far out, so it is always good to contact me as soon as you have chosen your date to check my availability.

Once you have settled on a date and have advised me. If I am available I will send you an agreement and a personalized proposal. To secure your date, I require 20% of your selected package to be paid within 7 days. Please be aware that the date will not be reserved until I receive payment. Once I receive your payment I will then lock down and finalize your date.

Yes absolutely! I am happy to provide you with the option to pay off your plan in small convenient instalments prior to your big day.

If you need to change your date and I am available on the new date, any money you have paid will simply be transfered to the new booking date. If you wish to cancel your booking completely, you must immediately give me notice in writing. The initial 25% payment is a retainer and not a deposit, therefore not refundable which fairly compensates me for committing to provide the agreed Services and turning down other potential Clients.

I am generally booked out well in advance, although, I may have had a cancellation or a rescheduled date. If by chance your date is still available, I will do what I can to accommodate you. I do not charge anything additional for a last minute booking.

My main collections are 6 or 8 hours, so depending on the collection you select will determine the availability of hours for your day. For example if you select an 8 hour collection and I commence shooting at 12pm, then coverage will conclude at 8pm.

I am the senior photographer/cinematographer who will be shooting on the day. You can rest assured with me behind the lens, I will make you look absolutely beautiful and capture your magical day with my unique cinematic style. From time to time, I may have an assistant or a 'trainee' along for part of or the entire day, but you will be advised ahead of time if this is the case.

Getting clear audio is just as important as capturing the film on the day. For the ceremony I use small concealed lapel microphones, generally one attached to the groom and one for the celebrant, so we can capture the audio for both and the vows. As a redundancy I also have on camera microphones, and if available, plug in to the PA system with a sound recorder. For the speeches, and dependent on the venue, I can again plug in to the PA System or if this is not available I can provide a recording microphone or set up a sound recorder near the speakers.

An unplugged wedding is when you ask your family, friends and guest to turn off their phones, iPads, cameras and other digital distractions during the ceremony or reception. The purpose is to allow the hired wedding photographer and videographer the chance to capture the wedding as efficiently and perfectly as possible without possibly missing key shots caused by obtrusive guest photographers (Sadly, Yes it happens quite often!).

In short, I do not use copyrighted music. I also do not allow any copyrighted music played in the background of any filming to be retained in the final film(s). So why you ask, well, without paying considerable licensing fees I cannot publish any work with unlicensed music as this leaves the business open to copyright infringement and possible legal proceedings with the copyright owners. Instead I opt to use high-quality licensed royalty free music specifically designed for film production. This type of music allows me to also be more creative and find a perfect cinematic match for the personality of the couple and to fit the tone and mood of the film.

Yes most definitely. At the end of the wedding day, all photography, video and audio files are securely backed up to my onsite storage, the first storage point is a working server from which I work directly for editing. A second backup provides a redundancy storage point which is my master backup of all original files, and I also utilize a third redundancy being secure off site cloud storage.

As the creator of any original work, I own the copyright. This is strictly non negotiatable and is a condition of using my services. You will be assigned usage rights to you on payment and delivery, which means you are able to use the images for any legitimate use without any additional licencing or costs.

I do not provide any RAW photographs / original video or work files. My service is to provide a final work whether it be a photographic image or produced video. On creation, I retain any ownership of these files and is a condition of my services.

Once I have completed your edits, your final images will be enabled for download via your Secure Private Online Gallery. In the case of Video, this will be provided via a private video gallery or link . Generally your photos will be available within 4 weeks and video within 6 weeks, this may be sooner and will depend on current work loads.
